WD Black² is built by fusing two storage devices together into one dual drive to create the ultimate experience for notebooks and all-in-one PCs. WD Black² Shift Technology allows you to migrate larger data files to the hard drive and provides your SSD with less system drag, which increases the overall endurance and mileage of the SSD.

I just unboxed a new, unused WDBlack2 drive and could not unlock the hdd part because the WD support no longer exists for this product. Happily with this program it was a piece of cake after installing windows 7 on the ssd part of it and switching my laptop's BIOS to legacy mode. Now I have a dual external drive for running live Linux distros or repair tools from the ssd and a large storage on the hdd volume.
Thanks a lot! More
